Ayam Goreng dengan Bawang
(Fried Chicken with Onion) Serves 6 - 8
- 1 chicken
- 2 tsps turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 large onion - ringed thickly
- 2 red chillies - sliced
- Oil for deep-frying
- Clean the chicken and cut into 8 pieces. Wash and
- Mix the chicken with salt and turmeric powder.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the chicken pieces
- Using 2tbsps of the same oil, in a separate pan
fry the onion rings and chilli slices until limp.
Turn off the heat and mix with the chicken
